So I figured just a little posting would be in store before I called it a night. Got home exhausted from work, tough day… but you know what this blog needs more of…
ZOOEY!
*sigh* And on the beach too… another photo from Trash The Dress. Seems as though most of the shoots are done on the beach though, I’d probably go with something more creative… not sure though. Maybe an abandoned forest, that would be stunning.
The Clash.
This style couple has quite the bland personality (in my opinion). First off, the photo depicting the style of the said clothing doesn’t quite fit to what the designer was possibly trying to achieve, and if so… so poorly done, that the consumers would have looked directly through it. Both the man and the woman do not mix well, she’s dressed in the black on black look, fitting towards more of an evening style, while he clashes with the daytime urban mix. The guy, fades into the background, nothing on this model particularly stands out, and if it does, it isn’t in a good way. The dark denim 90’s jeans collide with the 1950’s look that the white dress shirt, dark teal jacket, and the lace-up shoes fit with. And with the background color choice, he completely disappears. As for the female model, her outfit is delightful, with the right color matte black, golden buttons, 3/4 sleeves, (debating on the look of the bow directly in the front, probably would have fit better along in the back), the choice of stockings give the dress a little edge, and the Italian cut boots bring her style into the foreground of beauty. Kitsune’s style only half winning me over.
I take great pleasure (hah, pun… oh, sorry) in saying that this ad does not necessarily make me think of Italian women as “violent”. So she’s having the ultimate orgasm, who wouldn’t be doing that if we could achieve THAT greatness!
I had to post a comment about this, only because I find it absolutely ridiculous that Miley Cyrus would back herself up and basically ‘cover her ass’, stating that it was art and so on and so forth. Only to be heard saying that she regrets doing that shoot. Let me guess, because the “public” didn’t agree with it. I have to say that regardless, even if I wasn’t 18 quite yet, I would still stand up for my views and my beliefs. No matter how much of an uproar it indeed caused. I’d be proud to say that I’m my own person and that furthermore, I’m allowed to be my own individual with my own rights. She wasn’t underage posing NUDE, she was covered only baring her back, nothing more than wearing a low cut bare back evening gown, which MANY young adults have done at numerous premieres, award ceremonies, appearances, and other photo shoots as well.
No, what does she do… what she ALWAYS does, claims that it was a mistake/wronged behavior/bad in judgment. I find that insane… Just an opinion.
She does work those dresses though, lol.
