As it sits today...
Truthfully, it was fantastic. I had built up my hopes that we would be shoping for our wedding cupcakes and flowers today, but my fiance's mother wasn't feeling well, so we postponed it. And I was looking really good too...
That was my inpiration today... very city chic, and he didn't want it to go to waste (*blush*, he's a keeper... I know), so he took me out to lunch with our friend. I pranced around, owning my look as usual. We considered going to see a movie, but nothing was showing at the time we wanted to see it (major poo)... so we set out on an adventure across town to this little game shop... mind you, nerd moment coming on... saw amazing miniatures and figurines that would tie in well with our game (d&d if your lost at this point)... and I'm never saying my ideas out loud ever again... saw a miniature and her title... my EXACT idea to incorporate into our current campaign that my DM has set up... even her outfit was my thought for a new level character I'm thinking about making. Quite frusterating! Looked for new board games, new corebooks... saw the Anima book I've been dyng to have for awhile (so I got it online... yay) and even drooled over a set of d10's I've been wanting... teal and white, ever so yummy (dropped the hint to the groom for Christmas *hint hint wink wink*).
So we left after getting a call from my Maid of Honor who needed help moving something... but before that, the hubby made a stop at Borders... O.O uber yay... and he bought me the book I've been dying to have ever since he showed it to me...
Definitely in heaven... even after flipping through the pages, I'm still as excited to work on it as I was the first time my eyes were set to the cover. VERY good choice on his part...
So... having a quiet night at home with my new bookie... the boy and I will be putting our ornaments on our mini tree shortly, complete with Christmas music and candles... an episode of Star Trek... and some good loving after wards... oh yes, happy girl.
